GIORNATA INTERNAZIONALE DELLA PACE INDETTA DALL’ONU

A nome dell’associazione RAWA e di tutta la popolazione afghana vorrei esprimere la mia gratitudine agli onorevoli amici del centro Balducci per il loro grande supporto negli ultimi dieci anni e ringraziarli per avermi invitata a parlare delle “ Donne afghane e distruzione della pace e della giustizia sotto l’occupazione della NATO”.

Abbiamo sempre sottolineato quanto siano inestimabili per noi la solidarietà e il sostegno dei nostri amici, specialmente in Italia. il vostro sostegno ai partiti democratici e secolari e alle organizzazioni in Afghanistan in un momento in cui questi corpi sono stati completamente ignorati e soppressi dagli imperialisti americani e il loro regime fantoccio è molto importante.
L’America imperialista e i suoi alleati della NATO avevano pianificato l’invasione del nostro bistrattato paese e la letale guerra contro la nostra gente indifesa già all’indomani degli attacchi dell’11 settembre. Negli ultimi diciassette anni di invasione americana, con la presenza di decine di migliaia di soldati dotati delle ami più moderne; con il lancio di centinaia di attacchi aerei e attacchi con i droni; con la costruzione di nove basi militari ufficiali e decine di centri militari segreti e centri di spionaggio; con l’investimento di miliardi di dollari e innumerevoli piani di guerra, il nostro paese non ha più né pace né sicurezza.
Dal 2009, il governo statunitense ha cercato di risolvere il ginepraio afgano con la “pace” e non con la guerra, per via della pressione da parte degli americani e di tutti i pacifisti del mondo e per calmare temporaneamente la crisi economica, per dimostrare che fondamentalmente la sua invasione avesse fini “umanitari” e pacifici. Da allora, gli Stati Uniti e il loro governo fantoccio hanno esortato i criminali talebani e il famigerato assassino Gulbuddin dal partito islamico a smettere di finanziare la guerra e unirsi al governo. Tale annuncio non sorprese affatto gli afgani in quanto era chiaro che gli Stati Uni volessero soltanto costruire un governo fantoccio e corrotto in Afghanistan per raggiungere i loro scopi geostrategici, politici ed economici. E chi meglio criminali fondamentalisti e lacchè per quest’obiettivo.

Nel 2010 il regime fantoccio afgano fondò il Consiglio di pace il cui scopo era quello di continuare le negoziazioni di pace con i talebani e Gulbuddin. Questo consiglio di pace era formato da jihadisti e guerrieri talebani, CIA e spie dell’ISIS e guidato da ben noti capi criminali jihadisti come Burhanuddin Rabani e Karim Khalili.

Sin dall’inizio dell’invasione dell’Afghanistan, gli Stati Uniti hanno tratto grande vantaggio dall’orribile condizione in cui versano le donne sotto il governo dei talebani. Sotto il nome di emancipazione delle donne e dar loro ruoli di leadership in politica hanno messo al potere donne come ad esempio Fawzia Kufi, Amina Afzali, Fatiman Gilani, Sima Samar, Shukria Barikzai, Habiba Surabi, Dilbar Nazari, Hawa Alam Noristani e altre. la maggior parte di queste donne ha forti legami con i militanti jihadisti ed esse sono coinvolte in attività criminali e corrotte. Questo gruppo è sostanzialmente composto da attori dei piani statunitensi in Afghanistan, tacendo sulle cause della tremenda condizione delle donne sotto l’occupazione di un governo traditore. Una parte di queste donne siede dietro i loro partner fondamentalisti nel consiglio di pace per rappresentare apparentemente il ruolo delle donne nei dibattiti sulla pace. E il risultato finale delle loro attività era di riportare al potere Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, un giovane ragazzo dagli occhi blu della CIA e dell’ISIS. Gulbuddin è un famoso misogino che quando era all’università attaccò delle donne con l’acido; violò diritti umani, inclusa la tortura e l’uccisione di decine di intellettuali afgani in Pakistan; uccise migliaia di civili durante le battagli di Kabul e ne devastò la meravigliosa città e altri innumerevoli crimini. Negli ultimi anni il partito di Gulbuddin è stato responsabile di diversi attacchi suicidi a Kabul, le cui vittime furono donne e bambini innocenti. In uno di questi attentati morì Hameeda Barmaki, avvocato e professoressa universitaria, insieme al marito e ai quattro figli. Gulbuddin si unì ai fratelli jihadisti Sayyaf, Dostum, Khalili, Atta Mohammad Noor, Mohaqiq, Abdulla, Qanoonie altri senza essere ritenuto colpevole dei crimini commessi.

Sorprendentemente l’UE si assunse la responsabilità per la sua sicurezza e spese migliaia di dollari per questo scopo. È così che pace e giustizia vengono distrutti sotto l’occupazione.
In questi giorni il governo di Ghani è stato estremamente impegnato a raggiungere un accordo di pace con i talebani, una fazione crudele che miete vittime innocenti ogni giorno. E mentre da un lato i talebani continuano ad attaccare le città, dall’altro Ghani incitando a un cessate il fuoco,li invita a Kabul e offre loro un gelato. La storia mondiale non ha mai registrato un accordo di pace così ridicolo. È un vero e proprio tradimento nei confronti delle migliaia di famiglie delle vittime parlare di riconciliazione con un gruppo tanto feroce, le cui azioni parlano solo di terrore, distruzione e violazione dei più basilari diritti umani. Questo tipo di collusione serve agli Stati Uniti e ai suoi alleati e non tiene affatto in considerazione i desideri di milioni di afgani. Gli aggressori sono disposti a calpestare centinaia di migliaia di persone e compiacere individui spietati pur di ottenere il loro tornaconto personale.

Questa non è la prima volta che gli Stati Uniti calpestano il sangue degli afgani e rafforzano e armano gli assassini per favorire i loro interessi politici e finanziari. Durante l’invasione russa, gli Stati Uniti e i suoi alleati occidentali armarono gruppi jihadisti in Pakistan. La natura misogina e terrorista di questi gruppi e dei loro capi era ben nota agli Stati Uniti, ma la CIA continuava a pagare milioni di dollari per raggiungere un unico obiettivo: abbattere il suo più pericoloso nemico, ossia l’Unione Sovietica. Questo scopo costò la vita a 1,5 milioni di afgani e comportò la distruzione del nostro paese durante le battaglie di Kabul tra i barbari partiti estremisti jihadisti.
Dopo l’invasione dell’Afghanistan nel 2001, gli Stati Uniti formarono un governo con gli stessi capi jihadisti e i loro comandanti nonostante gli avvertimenti da parte della RAWA e altre organizzazioni umanitarie. Il destino degli afgani fu lasciato ancora una volta nelle mani dei criminali. E per quanto riguarda i diritti delle donne afgane, democrazia, secolarismo e giustizia non importavano agli Stati Uniti.

Nel 2001 gli Stati Uniti promisero la “liberazione delle donne”dalle mani dei talebani. Ma vediamo come questo non abbia portato a nulla.
Negli ultimi diciassette anni l’Afghanistan è stato un vero e proprio inferno per le donne e la violenza nei loro confronti ha raggiunto livelli senza precedenti. Le donne, infatti, subiscono violenza domestica, stupro, stupri di gruppo, abusi sessuali, omicidi, ‘omicidio d’onore’, matrimoni forzati di minori con uomini molto più grandi di loro e decine di altri maltrattamenti. I tassi di auto suicidi hanno raggiunto nuovi livelli: molte donne si bruciano vive perché non vedono altra via di scampo. Molti di questi casi di violenza contro le donne avvengono in zone aree sotto il controllo del governo. Queste zone sono sorvegliate da guerriglieri e comandanti dell’Alleanza del nord e altri partiti fondamentalisti che sono essi stessi coinvolti in questi crimini contro le donne. Essi hanno le loro milizie private che commettono tali crimini efferati. Suddette milizie sono armate e finanziate dagli Stati Uniti per combattere gli insorti, nonostante la violazione dei diritti umani. Tali milizie vengono inoltre usate per reprimere qualsiasi insurrezione o attività contro di essi.

Questa è una situazione molto diffusa nelle province settentrionali dell’Afghanistan. Lo scorso marzo, un membro della RAWA ha visitato alcune di queste province e ha sentito le dolorose storie di donne, ragazzi e uomini vittime dei gruppi militanti. Un uomo nella provincia del Baghlan ha raccontato al membro della RAWA “La nostra vita, proprietà, moglie, figlia, figlio e onore sono nelle mani di queste milizie. Ci attaccano e ci accusano di supportare e fare la spia ai talebani. Ci picchiano e ci derubano con questa scusa”. A Kuduz, una donna ha detto “Sono entrati nella mia casa e hanno rubato il bestiame con la forza. Sono felice che non sapessero che mia nuora fosse in casa: se l’avessero saputo, avrebbero preso anche lei”. I rapporti della RAWA e di altre organizzazioni umanitarie locali e internazionali mostrano chiaramente che dietro molti casi di sequestri e stupri si celano proprio queste milizie.

Il governo afgano, con l’aiuto della macchina di propaganda di massa degli Stati Uniti, afferma che la violenza contro le donne in Afghanistan sia colpa della cultura tradizionale, misogina e retrograda del paese. Tuttavia, crediamo che ogni cultura si costruisca sulla base della struttura politica e sociale. Nel nostro paese, l’Occidente ha supportato e rafforzato i partiti fondamentalisti e misogini per decenni e questi ultimi erano liberi di mettere in atto qualsiasi tipo di azioni contro le donne e le leggi che volevano. Naturalmente, la nostra cultura è stata investita da questa atmosfera. Se attualmente la violenza domestica aumenta giorno dopo giorno in Afghanistan è perché in quasi tutti i casi è permesso insultare, picchiare e stuprare le donne senza il benché minimo timore di una punizione, in quanto lo stesso tipo di uomini è al potere e garantirà loro l’impunità.

Sotto l’occupazione della NATO, nonostante i miliardi di dollari in aiuto, l’Afghanistan è ancora oggi uno dei paesi più poveri del mondo. Una ricerca collettiva condotta dal governo afgano e le NU mostra che quasi il 54% della popolazione vive al di sotto della soglia di povertà e la stragrande maggioranza di queste persone è costituita da donne e bambini.

Secondo i dati della Banca Mondiale del lasso di tempo compreso fra il 2011 e il 2017, 396 gravidanze su 10 mila sono finite con la morte delle madri. Questo fenomeno tragico è molto diffuso nelle province meridionali e in quelle del sudest, che sono quelle meno sicure e controllate da talebani e Daesh. Due mesi fa, il direttore della sanità pubblica di Paktika, una provincia del sudest dell’Afghanistan, ha affermato “Abbiamo soltanto una dottoressa per curare 250 mila donne in questa provincia”. In questa stessa provincia, 80 neonati su 90 sono morti durante il trasporto. Questo è semplicemente un esempio di un’unica provincia, ma la situazione delle altre province non è migliore di questa.

I bambini, specialmente le femmine, sono quelli più a rischio in una situazione come quella dell’Afghanistan sotto il dominio di talebani, Daesh e guerriglieri. Nella maggiore parte delle province, i bambini non ricevono l’assistenza primaria né l’istruzione. In aree remote sotto dominazione di talebani e Daesh, i bambini non vengono neppure vaccinati. Secondo un rapporto dell’UNICEF, quasi la metà dei bambini fra i 7 e i 17 anni non frequenta la scuola. Quasi 1,2 milioni di bambini fra i 6 e 14 anni è impiegato in qualche tipo di lavoro minorile. Secondo alcune interviste, ragazze che lavorano per le strade di Kabul affermano che sono molto preoccupate per gli attacchi suicidi e i rapimenti. Quando parliamo con queste ragazze, ci raccontano storie di amici che lavoravano con loro e che persero la vita in attentati suicidi o che furono rapiti da uomini armati.

La situazione della sicurezza peggiora giorno dopo giorno. La maggior parte delle vittime di attacchi bomba da parte dei talebani e Daesh sono persone civili. Un rapporto delle NU di luglio dichiarava che nei primi sei mesi del 2018 sono stati uccisi 1700 civili. Questo è il numero più alto di mmorti civili negli ultimi dieci anni di guerra. Talebani e spie Daesh sono presenti in tutte le istituzioni dell’Afghanistan.

Il nuovo obiettivo degli attacchi condotti dai Daesh è colpire le minoranze, in particolar modo i nostri compatrioti Hazar, Sick e Hindu. Il più atroce attacco suicida è stato quello contro gli Hunduy e i Sick lo scorso luglio. 19 dei nostri fratelli Hundu e Sick sono stati uccisi fuori all’ufficio del governatore a est della città di Jalalbad per incontrare Ghani e parlare delle terre sottratte dai soldati jihadisti.

Il metodo coloniale più classico e diffuso è quello di approfittare di tensioni etiche e religiose e dividere una nazione. Gli Stati Uniti hanno creato partiti islamici separati basati sulla loro etnia sin dai primi anni ’80. Quando questi partiti salirono al potere nel 1992, commisero crimini contro civili di altre etnie, seminando profonde inimicizie fra i gruppi. Gli Stati Uniti e altri paesi come Pakistan, Iran, Arabia Saudita, Russia e Turchia hanno investito in guerriglieri di diversi gruppi etnici per fomentare ulteriormente queste tensioni. Gli Stati Uniti mettono i propri agenti gli uni contro gli altri per mantenere il governo diviso e sotto controllo. Recentemente, gli Stati Uniti hanno piazzato delle spie in Pashtoon, nel palazzo presidenziale attorno a Ghani e Atmar e fatto di NOMI sue spie come Dostum la loro opposizione. Gulbuddin è stato riportato per rafforzare i criminali contro altri criminali non Pashtoon che si stavano avvicinando alla Russia.

Per noi e per la popolazione afgana, Gulbuddin, Atmar, Ghani e altri criminalie traditori Pashtoon non sono leader Pashtoon, così come Atta, Dostum, Qanooni e Mohaqiq non sono capi Tajik, Uzbeki e Hazara.

Sono tutti criminali e mercenari, non diversi l’uno dall’altro. Crediamo fortemente che la popolazione afgana a prescindere dall’etnia, dalla religione o dalla lingua soffra allo stesso modo sotto l’invasione statunitense, il suo regime fantoccio, talebani e Daesh. Pertanto, devono unirsi e combattere per indipendenza, democrazia e libertà.

RAWA, come organizzazione rivoluzionaria e dedita alla lotta per la libertà delle donne, crede che l’unica soluzione per uscire dalla situazione attuale sia combattere strenuamente e senza paura. Vogliamo creare un fronte unito con partiti e organizzazioni democratiche secolari e dedite alla lotta per libertà al fine di combattere contro gli Stati Uniti, l’occupazione della NATO e loro agenti afgani e mercenari. Riteniamo che pace, democrazia e giustizia non possano essere raggiunte in un paese occupato o attraverso progetti ONG. Questi valori si possono conquistare soltanto attraverso una lotta organizzata e consapevole di donne e uomini nel nostro paese.

On behalf of the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) and Afghan people, I would like to express my gratitude to our honorable friends in Centro Balducci for their earnest support during the last decade, and thank them for inviting me to talk about “Afghan Women and Destruction of Peace and Justice under NATO Occupation”.

We have always emphasized that the solidarity and support of our friends and supporters all over the world, and especially in Italy, is invaluable for us. Your support for the democratic and secular parties and organizations in Afghanistan at a time when these bodies have been completely ignored and suppressed by the US imperialists and their puppet regime in Afghanistan, is very important.

The US imperialist and its allies in NATO, had planned the invasion of our battered country and its deadly war against our defenseless people from the very first day post the September 11 attacks. In the past 17 years of the US invasion, with the presence of tens and thousands of soldiers armed with the most modern weapons; with the launch of hundreds of air strikes and drone attacks; with the building of nine official military bases and tens of secret military and spy centers; with the investment of billions of dollars; and multiple plans for war, our country has not seen peace and security. Since 2009, the US government has sought to resolve the Afghan quagmire with “peace” rather than war, due to pressure from its people and all the peace-loving people of the world, and to temporarily calm its economic crisis, and basically to show that its invasion is for “humanitarian” and peaceful purposes. Since then, the US and its Afghan puppet government have called upon the Taliban criminals and the infamous murderer, Gulbuddin, from the Islamic Party, to stop waging a war and to join the government. This announcement didn’t surprise the Afghan people because it was clear for our women and men that the US only wanted to build a puppet and corrupt government in Afghanistan to achieve its geostrategic, political, and economic interests. And who better to hire for this purpose than the criminal fundamentalist lackeys.

In 2010 the Afghan puppet regime established the “Afghanistan High Peace council” whose aim was to continue peace negotiations with the Taliban and Gulbuddin. This peace council was itself formed with Jehadi and Taliban warlords, and CIA and ISI spies, and led by well-known Jihadi criminal leaders such as Burhanuddin Rabbani and Karim Khalili.

Since the beginning of its invasion of Afghanistan, the US has taken good advantage of the horrifying situation of women under the Taliban. Under the name of empowering women and giving women leadership roles in politics it has put in positions of power women such as Fawzia Kufi, Amina Afzali, Fatiman Gilani, Sima Samar, Shukria Barikzai, Habiba Surabi, Dilbar Nazari, Hawa Alam Noristani, and other. Most of these women have strong connections with Jehadi warlords, and are involved in criminal and corrupt activities. This group is basically made up of actors of the US plans in Afghanistan, maintaining silence over the causes of the horrifying situation of women under the occupation and the traitorous government. A number of these women sit beside their male fundamentalist partners in the Peace Council apparently to represent the women’s role in peace talks. And the final result of their activities was to bring back Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the blue-eyed boy of the CIA and ISI; Gulbudding is a well-known misogynist who attacked women with acid during his university days; he committed human rights violations, including the torture and killing of tens of Afghan intellectuals in Pakistan; killed thousands of civilians during the Kabul battles and devastated the beautiful city, and countless more. Gulbuddin’s party also took the responsibility for several suicide attacks in Kabul in recent years whose victims were innocent women and children. One attack killed Hameeda Barmaki, a female lawyer and university professor, along with her husband and four children. Gulbuddin joined his Jihadi bothers Sayyaf, Dostum, Khalili, Atta Mohammad Noor, Mohaqiq, Abdulla, Qanooni, and others, without being held accountable for his crimes. Surprisingly, the European Union took the responsibility for his security and spent thousands of dollars for this purpose. This is how peace and justice are destroyed under the occupation.

These days, the Ghani’s government has been excessively busy to strike a peace deal with the Taliban, a vicious faction who take daily the life of harmless civilians. While the Taliban continue attacking the cities, Ghani on other side cheering for a ceasefire, invite them to Kabul and offer ice-cream. The world history has never recorded such a ridiculous “peace” deal. It is clearly betrayal to the thousands of victim families to talk about reconciliation and appeasement with such a savage group whose actions only speak of terror, destruction and violation of the very basic human rights. This kind of collusion serves the U.S. and its allies and has to do nothing with the wishes of millions of Afghans. The aggressors are willing to step on hundred thousands of people and please the ruthless elements in order to achieve their vested interest.

This is not the first time that the US has stepped on the blood of Afghan people and empowered and armed their killers in favor of its own political and financial interests. During the Russian invasion, the US and its western allies armed Islamic Jihadi groups in Pakistan. The misogynist and terrorist nature of these groups and their leaders was well-known to the US, but the CIA still paid millions of dollars to them to achieve its only aim: to topple its most dangerous enemy, the Soviet Union. This aim was achieved at the cost of the lives of 1.5 million Afghans, and the destruction of our country during the Kabul battles between barbaric Jihadi fundamentalist parties. After the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the US created a government with the same Jihadi leaders and their commanders despite warnings from RAWA and other human rights organizations. The fate of the Afghan people was once again given to war criminals. In the case of Afghanistan women’s rights, democracy, secularism, and justice did not matter to the US.

The US promised ‘women’s liberation’ from the hands of the Taliban in 2001. Let’s look at how that has panned out. Afghanistan has been hell for its women in the past 17 years, violence against women has risen to unprecedented levels now. Women suffer from domestic violence, rape, gang-rape, sexual abuse, murder, honor-killing, underage and coerced marriage to men much older than them, exchange of girls in marriage for items, and tens of other misfortunes. The rates of self-immolation have reached new heights. Many women burn themselves alive as they see no other solution to their problems. Most of these violence against women cases occur in areas under government control. These areas are controlled by infamous warlords and commanders of the Northern Alliance and other fundamentalist parties who are themselves involved in these crimes against women. These powerful warlords and commanders have their private militias who also commit these heinous crimes. These militias are armed and financed by the US to fight insurgents, despite their terrible human rights record. These groups are also used by warlords to repress any uprisings or activities against them. This is particularly common in the northern provinces of Afghanistan. Last March, a RAWA member visited some of these provinces and heard the woeful stories of women, girls and men victims of militia groups. A man in Baghlan province told RAWA member, “Our life, property, wife, daughter, son and honor are in the hands of these militias. They attack us and accuse us of supporting and spying for the Taliban. They beat and loot us under this excuse.” A woman in Kuduz said, “They came to my house and took my cattle by force. I am happy that they didn’t know that my young daughter in-law is at home. If they had known they would have taken her as well.” Reports by RAWA and other local and international human rights organizations clearly show that militias are behind many cases of abduction and rape of women.

The Afghan government, with the help of the US’s massive propaganda machine claim that violence against women in Afghanistan is because of the traditional, misogynist and backward Afghan culture. However, we believe that every culture forms on the basis of the social and political structure. In our country, the West has supported and empowered misogynist fundamentalist parties for decades, and they were free to apply any anti-women actions and laws they wished. Our culture has naturally been hit by this atmosphere. Now if domestic violence is increasing day by day in Afghanistan, it is because in almost all cases, men are allowed to insult, beat, and rape women, without any fear of punishment, because the very same kind of men are in power and will provide them impunity.

Under the NATO occupation, despite billions of dollars in aid, Afghanistan is still one of the poorest countries in the world. A joint survey carried out by the Afghan government and UN shows that almost 54 percent of the population in Afghanistan lives below the poverty line. And a great number of these poor people are women and children.

According to figures by the World Bank for 2011-2017, 396 out of every 10.000 pregnancies ended in the mother’s death. This tragedy is most common in the south and southeastern provinces, which are more insecure and controlled by the Taliban and Daesh. Two months ago, the director of Public Health in Paktika, a province in southeastern Afghanistan said, “We only have one female doctor to serve 250.000 women in this province.” In this province 80 to 90 babies died during delivery each month. This is an example of one province, other provinces’ situation is not better than this.

Children, especially females, are more at risk than anyone in this situation of Afghanistan under the domination of Taliban, Daesh and warlords. In most provinces, children do not receive primary services of healthcare and education. In remote areas under the domination of Taliban and Daesh, children don’t get vaccines. According to a UNICEF report, nearly half of the children aged between 7 and 17 years old in Afghanistan are missing out on school. Almost 2.1 million children between the ages of 6 and 14 are involved in some form of child labor. According to interviews, girls working in the streets of Kabul said that they are most worried about suicide attacks and abductions. When we spoke to them, they shared stories of their friends who worked with them and lost their lives in suicide attacks or were abducted by armed men.

The security situation is getting worse day by day. Majority of the victims of suicide and bomb attacks by Taliban and Daesh are Afghan civilians. A UN report in July said that in the first six month of 2018, 1,700 civilians were killed. This is the highest number of civilian casualties over the last decade of war. Taliban and Daesh spies are present in all security institutions of Afghanistan as a result of which they carry out deadly complex attacks on some of the most heavily guarded areas.

The new trend in attacks carried out by Daesh is targeting minorities, particularly our Hazara, Sikh and Hindu compatriots. The most painful suicide attack recently was the attack against the Hindus and Sikhs that occurred in July. 19 of our Hindu and Sikh brothers were killed while they were waiting outside the governor’s office in eastern Jalalabad city to meet Ghani and talk about their lands being grabbed by warlords and Jihadis.

The most classic colonial method is to escalate ethnic and religious tensions and divide a nation. The US created separate Islamic parities based on their ethnicity from the very beginning in the 1980s. When these parities come to power in 1992 they committed crimes against civilians of other ethnicities, sowing seeds of bitter enmities between these groups. The US, and other countries like Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Turkey have invested in warlords of different ethnic groups to further flare these tensions. The US turns its own agents against one another to keep the government divided and under control. Recently, the US installed its Pashtoon spies in the presidential palace around Ghani and Atmar, and made its Tajik and Uzbek spies such as Dostum and Atta Mohammad their opposition. Gulbuddin was brought back to strengthen the Pashtoon puppet criminals against other non-Pashtoon criminals who were becoming close to Russia.

For us and the Afghan people, Gulbuddin, Atmar, Ghani and other Pashtoon criminals and traitors are not Pashtoon leaders, just like Atta, Dostum, Qanooni, and Mohaqiq are not Tajik, Uzbek and Hazara leaders. They are all criminals and mercenaries, not different from one another.

We strongly believe that the people of Afghanistan regardless of their ethnicity, religion and language, suffer equally under the US invasion, its puppet regime, and Taliban and Daesh. So they need to unite and fight for independence, democracy and freedom.

RAWA as a revolutionary and freedom-fighting women’s organization, believes that the only way out of the current situation is to fight decisively and without fear. We want to make a united front with democratic, secular and freedom-fighting organizations and parties to fight against the US and NATO occupation and their Afghan agents and mercenaries. We believe that peace, democracy and justice cannot be achieved in an occupied country or through NGO projects.

These values can only be achieved through the organized and conscious struggle of women and men in the country.
